The newly remodeled Anschutz library offers a great set of couches and chairs, along with numerous floors with both Quiet Zone and Group Zone areas. During finals season, the library is open 24 hours a day (Except Sat-Sun), and also houses a snack bar with standard snack fare and drink. Built in 1924, Watson Library is the oldest and largest of KU’s libraries and is named after university librarian Carrie Watson. The library houses collections in the social sciences, humanities, education, journalism, and social welfare. The majority of KU's film and DVD collection can also be found in Watson.Visitor parking is $1.50 an hour. It takes approximately 5-15 minutes to walk from these parking facilities to Anschutz Library.
