Not played for a wee bit, but Heavy infused Dark sword was pretty good. A heavy Lothric straight sword. There are weapons with better damage, but it does very well, and has a good moveset and reach. I am using a Heavy Darksword, I believe it is the one that you can squeeze more damage with a 66 strength build.The best one is clearly The Convergence, it's the one that goes the farthest, especially when it comes to bosses (there is a bunch new bosses formed of movesets from various from software games). You can be out of his range while still in lock on range and spam away sorceries. Hes ai will just Walk menacingly towards you and eat all the damage. Crossbows are unique in the sense that they do not scale AT ALL with any stats. So you’re build will essentially be to just build you’re character into a tank. Outrageous health and whatever other stats you may want. I wouldn’t recommend putting you’re stats past 18/20 (str/dex) as with those stats you can wield absolutely every crossbow.This armor is needed to save Siegward in the well outside the Cathedral of the Deep. Opening the Cathedral doors is not the trigger for Patches to have the armor, you need to actually reload the Cathedral area. You do not need to talk to Siegward in the well first.You can buy the armor from Patches or just kill him for it.
